Day 1 – Thursday: Arrival in Zrenjanin

• Check-in at accommodation in the afternoon: Arrive in Zrenjanin and settle into a charming, historic accommodation. Located in the city center, this hotel is the perfect starting point for your exploration.
• City walk and sightseeing in Zrenjanin: In the afternoon, enjoy a pleasant walk to discover the sights of Zrenjanin. The city boasts a rich historical background and impressive architectural gems, such as the City Hall and the Great Lady of the Assumption Church. During the walk, you will get an insight into the city’s vibrant life, local culture, and traditions.
• Dinner: End the day with a delicious dinner at a traditional restaurant, where you can taste local specialties.

Day 2 – Friday: Legacy of Bánát Ancestors and Bánát Winemaking

• Breakfast at accommodation: Start the day with a fresh breakfast made from local ingredients to energize you for the adventures ahead.
• Legends of the Aracs Temple in the plain: After breakfast, we will head to the Aracs Temple, one of Bánát’s oldest and most mysterious architectural monuments. During a walk among the abandoned ruins, you will learn about the legends of the temple and explore this rare gem of medieval architecture.
• Čoka: The History of Léderer Castle and Winery Visit: Arriving in Čoka, you will learn about the fascinating history of Léderer Castle, once home to the Léderer family and now the center of the local winery. You will also have the opportunity to delve into the winemaking tradition and taste the famous regional wines.
• Zenta: Lunch at Restaurant Papuli and a visit to Réel Chocolate and Ice Cream Factory: After lunch in Zenta at Papuli Restaurant, we’ll visit the Réel chocolate and ice cream factory. Here, you will discover the secrets of handmade sweets and, of course, have the chance to taste the delicious creations.
• Padé: History of Schulhoff Castle: The day will end in Padé, where the history of Schulhoff Castle will be revealed. This castle was once the property of the Schulhoff family and holds many exciting stories within its walls.
• Return to Zrenjanin, Dinner: In the evening, we return to Zrenjanin for a relaxing dinner and rest after a day full of history.

Day 3 – Saturday: In the Footsteps of the Southern Bánát Aristocracy, Relaxation in Nature

• Breakfast at accommodation: Enjoy a fresh breakfast with local delicacies to prepare for another exciting day.
• Southern Bánát Castle Tour: The morning will be spent exploring the castles of the Southern Bánát region. In Konak village, we’ll visit the Daniel and Jagodic Castles, which are memories of the local aristocracy’s golden age. In Olesce, we will see the Kapetan Castle, while in Hajducican, the rich histories of the Damaszkin and Dunderszki Castles will come to life.
• Lunch in Zrenjanin: After the castle tours, we return to Zrenjanin for a traditional Bánát lunch.
• Császár Lake Nature Reserve: Boat Ride and Walk: After lunch, we’ll visit the Császár Lake Nature Reserve, where we’ll enjoy a peaceful boat ride followed by a relaxing walk along the reserve’s trails.
• Écska: The History of Lázár Castle, Dinner at the Castle Hotel: The day will conclude in Écska, where you will uncover the history of Lázár Castle. In the castle, you will enjoy an elegant dinner and experience the atmosphere of noble life. Afterward, you can relax and unwind at the castle hotel.

Day 4 – Sunday: Return Journey

• Breakfast: After breakfast, we bid farewell to Bánát and begin our journey back, carrying with us rich memories and experiences from this captivating tour.
